Kana: Now I am ready once more to aid Oneesama in her endless battle against the forces of evil. With the powers of this ribbon I am invincible.

But, on that one October day…

Mizuho provokes Takako

Takako: Foolish Mizuho - do not think that your puny taunts can harm me!

Takako counters with an attack on Kana's ribbon

Takako: I shall attack where you are weakest!

Later Mizuho inquires about the importance of Kana’s ribbon.

This ribbon is very important to me

Kana: It is the source of all my power. Without it I am defenceless and will be useless to you in your eternal battle against the darkness that threatens our world.

Later that day Mariya confronts Mizuho

Mariya thinks that Mizuho is taking the situation too lightly

Mariya: Do not underestimate Takano. She will destroy you!

Mizuho takes council with her friends and associates.

Mizuho: Now I am resolved. I must fight for my belief that all students be allowed the freedom to wear the ribbon of their choice!

Mizuho issues a formal protest

Mizuho: Your ideology is not evil, but still I must oppose you.

Shock!

Takako: You dare challenge me!

After our hero-ine has left…

Kimie is perplexed by Takako's acceptance of the protest

Takako: My dear ignorant minion… though you may worship at my feet, little do you comprehend the devious nature of my evil genius.

Takako has no intention of losing

Takako: I will crush you… and then I will make you my love slave.

Mizuho didn't want to make Takako angry

Shion: Oh Mizuho… your naiveté is charming.

Shion declares war

Shion: This is war! There can be only one victor!

And so the whole school gathers to witness the battle of wits…

Mizuho responds to Takako's warning

Mizuho: While it might be true that neither of our divergent hair-accessorising philosophies is wrong, they are incompatible, so a resolution must be arrived at.

Kana looking cute with her ribbon

Mizuho: Can you really look upon such kawaiiness and condemn her?

Mizuho poses the question: what if she were to wear that ribbon

Takako: What is this? I sense a trap… what is she up to?

Takako admits that that would be all right

Takako: I can’t resist… the power of that ribbon… it’s too strong…

Mizuho points out the contradiction

Takako: I underestimated her. I never thought she would be capable of such clever legalistic chicanery.

And so…

Kana is allowed to retain her ribbon

Kana: The powers of the Kawaii Ribbon are once more mine to wield and I can continue to fight by Oneesama’s side.

But…

Takako does her Skeletor impression
I’ll get you next time Mizuho
